4 Stages of Growth

4 Stages of Growth by my Awesome Networking Parnter Tim...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You've started your business today, you're supposed to be making money by tomorrow right...?

No, that's not how it works. Every business in existence has to be built before a substantial profit is seen by the owner - over a period of years in most cases.

Every business on the planet, big or small, goes through 4 stages of growth... Formulation, Concentration, Momentum, and Plateau.

Formulation: This is the beginning stage of your business, the starting line. Planning and placing. Obtaining permissions and licenses. During this stage of growth you will be identifying systems and routines to utilize, hiring services and budgeting expenses, big business places C.E.O.'s and key people - (home business identifies key team members).

Concentration: This stage of growth is where mass advertising takes place, and clientel are established, teams begin to build.

Momentum: For Big Business - Momentum is reached when 50 million in sales has been achieved, it is at this point that word of mouth generates sales. In home marketing companies - momentum is where millionaires are made. In your home business - you reach momentum when you go full time. When you go full time in home marketing, everything doubles, and word of mouth generates business for you.

Plateau: This stage is when sales level off or begin to decline from the average. Big business introduces new products or sevices or benefits to send the company back into momentum. Home business plateau is usually due to inactivity, or misfortune. In either case - activity will bring momentum back.

May you be in momentum forever!

I've heard that Attrition (the loss of team members due to drop out) was a home marketers greatest enemy... I disagree.

The desire for instant gratification is the home marketers greatest enemy, in the marketer themselves - and in downline members.

It is the desire for instant gratification that makes people quit early. The desire for instant gratification that turns people away from BUILDING a business - they want it now!

Guard yourself from the desire for instant gratification. Businesses take time to build, there are 4 stages to go through in growth, new skills to be learned, used, and become proficient with.

Use the 4 stages of growth as an outline for your business planning. What specific skills will you develop? When do you want to complete each stage and move to the next? What specific things will you do during each stage? Etc... Rushing through the stages and leaving things incomplete can cost you big time later.

The Practice of Discipline & 7 Steps to Success

The Practice of Discipline & 7 Steps to Success by Brian Tracy

Discipline yourself to do what you know you need to do to be
the very best in your field. Perhaps the best definition of
self discipline is this: "Self discipline is the ability to
make yourself do what you should do when you should do it,
whether you feel like it or not."

It is easy to do something when you feel like it. It's when
you don't feel like it and you force yourself to do it
anyway that you move your life and career onto the fast
track.

What decisions do you need to make today in order to start
moving toward the top of your field? Whatever it is, either
to get in or get out, make a decision today and then get
started. This single act alone can change the whole
direction of your life.

Seven Steps to Success...

There is a powerful seven step formula that you can use to
set and achieve your goals for the rest of your life. Every
single successful person uses this formula or some variation
of this formula to achieve vastly more than the average
person. And so can you. Here it is:

Decide What You Want...
Step number one, decide exactly what it is you want in each
part of your life. Become a "meaningful specific" rather
than a "wandering generality."

Write It Down...
Second, write it down, clearly and in detail. Always think
on paper. A goal that is not in writing is not a goal at
all. It is merely a wish and it has no energy behind it.

Set A Deadline...
Third, set a deadline for your goal. A deadline acts as a
"forcing system" in your subconscious mind. It motivates you
to do the things necessary to make your goal come true. If
it is a big enough goal, set sub-deadlines as well. Don't
leave this to chance.

Make A List...
Fourth, make a list of everything that you can think of that
you are going to have to do to achieve your goal. When you
think of new tasks and activities, write them on your list
until your list is complete.

Organize Your List...
Fifth, organize your list into a plan. Decide what you will
have to do first and what you will have to do second. Decide
what is more important and what is less important. And then
write out your plan on paper, the same way you would develop
a blueprint to build your dream house.

Take Action...
The sixth step is for you to take action on your plan. Do
something. Do anything. But get busy. Get going.

Do Something Meaningful Every Day...
Do something every single day that moves you in the
direction of your most important goal at the moment. Develop
the discipline of doing something 365 days each year that is
moving you forward. You will be absolutely astonished at how
much you accomplish when you utilize this formula in your
life every single day.

Action Exercises:

First, decide exactly what you want, write it down with a
deadline, make a plan and take action - on at least one goal
- today!

Second, determine the price you will have to pay to achieve
this goal and then get busy paying that price - whatever it
is.

The #1 INGREDIENT In Online Success!

What's the #1 Ingredient In Online Success?

Well... Let me share ONE WORD with you:
M-O-M-E-N-T-U-M

Remember this advice as long as you are in this industry.
Promise me that! Remember that I've told you,
"MOMENTUM IS 90% OF THE GAME!"

Because IF you drop out of this industry in the future, the reason
will be a lack of MOMENTUM!

Maybe you have 50 or 100 people in your downline.
That's what I call a sizzle. A nice little fire.

But that fire will not HEAT 100 people for long, my friend.
Before you know it, they will be COLD AS ICE!

Without momentum, they will slip into a MARKETING
COMA!

Now the KEY is to heat 'em up. What would happen if you
tossed a jerry can of GASOLINE on that fire?

BOOM! Those flames would really flare up and create some
HEAT.

But the heat would be only temporary, right? It would last
only a few hours at most...

What if you kept adding more jerry cans of GASOLINE to
keep that fire going? The flames would keep burning forever.

How does this translate into network marketing?

A1 Quality Pre-Qualified Internet LEADS are your GASOLINE.

You will soon have a created a WILDFIRE!

That leads me back to MOMENTUM, because that's what
you get with a never-ending supply of top-quality leads.

Fuel up TODAY!

Starting Your Own Business Is Easy

Starting a home business shouldn't be hard.

It shouldn't involve having to make a list of 100 people
you've known since kindergarten.

Or dragging people to living room meetings.

Or trying to retail product sales every month.

Or trying to build a 'downline' so you can earn $4.54 when
someone buys a bottle of "Magic Juice"

Or having to be a computer expert to figure out how to
make money.

Our business involves none of those things. Instead, we offer
people a few things that you might be surprised and delighted
about:

-- we show people how to replace their income in less than 6
months (no matter HOW much they're currently earning!)

-- we show them how to do this with a simple, proven blueprint

-- we show them how to create results with as few as
5-10 hours per week

-- we offer training by top earners in the Industry

-- we provide hands-on support by partnering you with
people who are getting the kinds of results YOU want

-- and we put a premium on FAMILY, FREEDOM,
FINANCES and FUN!

Sound good? It did to me, too!

Productivity Or Action?

One Will Make You Rich The Other Will Waste Your Time

Be very wary of what you do in your network marketing
duties.

Ask yourself this question often:

"Are the actions that I'm taking producing results or just
producing action?"

There is HUGE danger in not taking the time to really
analyze what you're doing in your business. Action can
easily be confused with productivity.

In network marketing or any self run business you never get
paid for your actions - only your results.

But if you are coming from a job mentality you can easily
confuse yourself into thinking that the actions that you are
taking are productive.

In a job you get paid for your time spent regardless of what
you do. You know if you put in 8 hours you get paid for 8
hours, so much of that time can be spent doing things that
are less than productive.

As long as you are doing enough not to get fired there
really is no great incentive to do any more.

If you take this mentality to your network marketing
business you will certainly meet with failure.

In network marketing you only get paid for results.

Be sure that your time is spent only on those tasks that
ACTUALLY produce results.

Let's get rid of the confusion on this point right now.

Here are the actions that produce results in network
marketing:

Generating Leads (Building a contact list)
Showing your opportunity/presentation to those Leads (Show The Plan)
Training Your Team (Provide a Solid Success Blueprint)

Anything else that does not fall in any of these three
categories you really can do without in your network
marketing business.

Analyze what you're doing right now in your business and
make sure that whatever it is it falls into one of these
three categories.

Otherwise you will be wasting a great deal of time and
you'll most likely confuse yourself into thinking that you
are doing something when you're not.

How To Market Better Than Your Competition!

If you're a small business owner, the word “marketing” can be scary. How can you compete with the big companies in your line of business? How can you catch up with competitors who have a head start in the race for customers?

The good news is, you don’t have to compete with them. You can set your own course and outdistance them.

In fact, there is a secret of marketing success that will actually give you an advantage if you are a small, new business. And that secret is focus. If you focus on your customer and focus your marketing efforts, you can market as effectively as the big boys. In fact, you can do an even better job of becoming your customer's company of choice.

To unleash the power of focus . . .

Pinpoint and attack your competitors’ weaknesses. Maybe they aren’t open during the hours when customers want them to be. Maybe their premises are dirty. Maybe they don’t offer extra services like delivery or on-site service. Analyze what they do, do better - and you can turn their head start into your advantage.
Don’t try to reach everyone with a “one-size-fits-all” ad campaign. Instead, identify your primary customer group - young mothers, homeowners in your town - and start marketing aggressively to them alone.
Use low-cost, highly targeted vehicles to deliver your message. Put up flyers in churches, supermarkets, and other places where your customers go. Advertise only in the publications you know they read. You’ll make more money by tight focus than by a scattergun approach.
Communicate with your customers one-on-one. Shop where they shop, attend the events they attend and get to know them. You’ll learn just as much as you ever will by spending tens of thousands of dollars on expensive focus groups and market research.
So focus on your customers and think small, not big, while you target your marketing efforts to them. Your company has to become your customer, not just sell to them. That's the kind of focus that can establish a strong competitive advantage, even in a crowded marketplace.
